All ghosts have a sad story to tell. At least, I believe they do. The Restless Barbara is one of them.
People say that, way back when the Barbara Church, located on the Black Forest, was a glorious place by day, that would shine on the sunlight, but today, it only shines when the moon casts its pale light on the lingering spirits.
It is said that Barbara’s father had her head cut because the young lady didn’t accept to leave Christianity. Her ghost waited for a brave man who would free her from her pain; and one really did try.
